The mission of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League is to assist each woman of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world. Prince of Peace LWML group meets the 3rd Tuesday Aug - May in room B/C. The Evening Circle begins with a light meal at 6:00 PM and continues with Bible study, prayer, fellowship, business meeting, planning for servant events, and working on projects.
Music has always been important in the worship life of Christians, and from the very beginning of Prince of Peace, we have striven to present the very best music we can provide for our members and guests. Choirs and instrumentalists participated even at our first worship service in 1988. We currently have a bell choir and song leader(s), who participate in our services.
Prince of Peace of has been involved in the Stephen Ministry since 1990. The Stephen Ministry is a caring, one-to-one, listening ministry by trained lay persons. The program is a long-term, confidential, helping relationship focusing on the unique needs of each person. It is a commitment to caring and supporting one another, to build a Christ-centered, sharing community. Stephen Ministry is a response to Christ's instruction."to love one another as I have loved you." You just have to ask the Pastor for visits from a Stephen Minister, when you have a need of a caring listener.
